My sister was getting married and asked me to be her maid of honor. I was thrilled. The problem was I lived in Oregon and she was now living in Chicago. I would have to fly up and back several times. There would be dress fittings, wedding showers and of course, the wedding itself. I wanted to be involved in all aspects of this wedding. My sister and I were always close. I flew out there immediately and we started making plans. We sure had fun. Her fiancée had let us take over all the details which we then got his approval on. After working hard on the wedding plans, she asked me if I wanted to experience some Chicago nightlife. I readily agreed. In our small town in Oregon you really didn’t have much of a choice. It was either one of three bars or one of two dance clubs. My sister and her fiancée took me to three different places each night. I couldn’t believe the variety of dance clubs there were. It was incredible at all the choices we had of sites to visit and enjoy. The Chicago downtown area alone is amazing. With all the lights and action. I loved visiting all the wonderful theaters and shows. I had such a breathtaking time; I couldn’t wait to return to Chicago to help my sister with more of her plans. Well, it is a good excuse to come back and enjoy more of Chicago entertainment.
