CAR REPAIRS
Antique furniture Chicago was the name of the show we attended. It was held in the is huge pavilion and must have had hundreds of dealers. I couldn't believe how many of them that there were. I walked from dealer to dealer, but still Tara wanted to get back to the barn and take a second look at the furniture we saw there. We were on our way back to the barn, but a tornado struck. The tornado damaged our car, so we had to go right home. The repairs to the car took a long time, and were quite expensive, but we got it done. So this was our first weekend out where we had a car. Tara looked at me and said that we have to go back to that barn. I didn't mind, as long as it made her happy. So the next day was Sunday, and we decided to go that very next day. You never know, said Tara. Another buyer might come along, and then we would be sunk. I didn't think that it was so likely, but if we put it off to next weekend, based on my suggestion, and the furniture set was gone, I'd be in trouble, to say the least.
