BIKER CULTURE
When I was younger, my father told me about my Uncle Jonas. He was one of my uncles that I barely ever saw. In fact, I can count on my hand the number of Christmas’s I actually remember him showing up to. He worked as a motorcycle attorney and, not surprisingly, in his spare time he was a biker. What better pastime for a motorcycle attorney than actually riding around on a motorcycle? He knows all about motorcycles, the biker culture, how motorcycle riders tend to get into accidents, and apply it all as a motorcycle attorney in a court of law. It makes sense that he’s barely ever around though. Attorneys tend to work long hours and when he’s not enduring all that paperwork and red tape he’s touring around the country on his bike. It’s like he’s two different people. When he’s at the office, he wears a nice suit and tie, speaks clearly and strongly, and follows the law to the letter. Out of the office, he dresses in black leather and looks like a huge brute who drinks too much and gets into roadside brawls. No one would think he’s a lawyer out on the open road and no one would think he’s a biker in the courtroom.
